1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using PurrNet's website and services at purrnet.dev ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service
PurrNet provides a networking framework and tools for game developers, including:
- Open-source and premium networking packages for game engines
- Package hosting and distribution
- Player authentication and lobby services
- Project management dashboard
- Subscription-based premium features
3. Accounts
3.1 Registration
You must authenticate via Discord OAuth to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and any API keys generated through PurrNet.
3.2 Account Responsibilities
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
- You must provide accurate information
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must not share API keys or access credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
3.3 Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Upon deletion, your account data will be permanently removed, active subscriptions will be cancelled, and payment records will be retained only as required by law.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
4.1 Paid Plans
PurrNet offers subscription plans ("House Cat", "Royal British", "Studio") with varying features. Pricing is displayed on our Membership page.
4.2 Billing
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; it will remain active until the end of the billing period
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — reach out via our Contact page
4.3 Donations
Donations are voluntary, one-time payments. Donations are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Abuse rate limits or circumvent security measures
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service (except as permitted by applicable law)
- Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
- Resell or redistribute premium features without authorization
- Impersonate another person or entity
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
The PurrNet brand, website design, and proprietary tools are owned by PurrNet. Premium packages are licensed, not sold.
6.2 Open-Source Components
PurrNet includes open-source components governed by their respective licenses (primarily MIT). See our GitHub repository for details.
6.3 Your Content
You retain ownership of any projects, games, or content you create using PurrNet's tools. We do not claim any rights over your work.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep PurrNet available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or for reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, personal injury, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your access to premium features will cease immediately
- You may request a data export before termination takes effect
- Data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then through the competent courts.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
